Visiting sick and elderly
Mary Anne Martin takes care of our Seniors, the sick, and the elderly, and one of the things she does that is most appreciated is the “Goodie Bags” she and her team deliver to our friends who reside in homes for the aged. The smiles of the residents she brings the goodies to are priceless.
Museum
The curator of the wonderful museum located in branch 25 is Comrade Ron Rouleau, and he creates wonderful displays whenever we celebrate an historic event. We encourage you to come and visit, have a drink at our bar, and meet some wonderful people.
Youth Activities
There are many educational activities our branch hosts for the young people of our community, and the kids love the Contests and Competitions. They also appreciate the prizes.
Sports
Unfortunately, due to the Covid mandates, all Legion Sports Events were cancelled during the pandemic. Now that most mandates are lifted, the Legion Hapkido classes are back in full swing.
Branch 25 has a number of other sporting activities, such as: Pool, Darts, Carpet Bowling, Martial Arts, Horse Shoes, and members can often be found playing various card games in our lounge.
We believe that such activities are great for keeping us mentally and physically fit, and the benefits of the camaraderie within the groups are something that simply can not be measured.
